Dalibor Cicman, CEO & Founder at GymBeam

I am a European tech entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. As the founder and CEO of GymBeam, I have built the largest Health & Fitness company in the EU.

My journey began with custom web development during my university years. By 2013, I managed a portfolio of 15 e-commerce projects, which I eventually sold to focus entirely on building the international GymBeam platform, which is now the industry leader in the European market.

Since founding GymBeam on May 1, 2014, my team and I have come a long way. In 2025, the holding reached consolidated revenues of €264 million, and today we operate in 16+ European markets and deliver to over 50 countries. In addition to GymBeam, I am the founder and CEO of Boxpi, a platform often described as the “Uber for e-commerce.”

As an investor, I focus on equities and real estate. My philanthropic efforts are realized through the Dalibor Cicman Foundation, which aims to support education in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

My work has been recognized with the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award (national winner 2023), after which I represented Slovakia at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year global finals in Monaco. In 2026, I was honored by PwC as the Most Respected CEO of 2025.

Two years ago, I began actively creating content for my YouTube channel, where I offer a transparent look at how we build GymBeam. In my videos, I share our key milestones, explain my business philosophy, and feature other entrepreneurs who share practical know-how with my audience.
